In an epic championship, the Merino Ballbreakahs defeated Da Bajinas to take the crown. This was a really really close game that came right down to the wire. In the bottom of the 6th, the Ballbreakahs took the lead on a Chris Habib kick and then held on in the top of the 7th to take the title. After many heart breaking losses in the playoffs, they finally captured the crown as champions. Great Job guys and gals!!!!!

The road to the crown was no easy task for Happy Birthday. After squeaking by in the first round, they found themselves pitted against a resurgent Thunderdome team. Happy Birthday locked down the defense and advanced by a score of 6-2.
In the championship game, we had a #1 vs a #2 seed. The game started out on fire with the Birthday crew platting 3 runs in the 1st. The Kicking Asses stormed right back and tied the game at three all. From there, Happy Birthday clamped down on defense and found their offense - taking control of the game and never looking back. Congrats Happy Birthday on your magical run through the playoffs.
