Fall Westside Softcore Co-Ed Kickball at Gabriel Park Sundays

It's always rough when a close-call doesn't go your team's way, and even more so, when it occurs on back-to-back plays. But Ben is such a gracious and laid-back player, he just shook it off and continued to play a great game. Thanks for being a great sport, Ben!

Quillyn Brown was the superstar at Gabriel Park today, being a ball magnet with sticky fingers in the outfield, a menace to be reckoned with in the infield, and a companion to cherish on the sidelines. She played one glorious game with her team Pitches Be Crazy in a magnificent game against Recreate Fitness, and then went on the play another by filling in for an injured player during Drunk Again and Looking to Score's match against Ballsagna. Quillyn showed spirit, heart, and a lot of guts out on the field today and earns the choice for Underdogger of the Week. Great job Quillyn!

Kevin Grover was an all-star this week at Gabriel Park. During an intense preliminary game in the playoffs, he drove an injured teammate to the doctor, willingly stepping off the field to help out a friend in need. Luckily he was able to make it back in time for his team's match in the finals, and made a great showing in that game with some great kicks and swift defense. Great job Kevin with your awesome sportsmanship and willingness to put the well being of a friend and teammate above the numbers on the scoreboard.
