AShley was the first one to arrive on opening night at Beaverly Cleary Late Fall on Wednesdays. Eager and ready to start the new season, she even put the finishing touches on the net. Not to mention, she played a great game with her team "Who Gives a Hit" who got their first win on the season. Great job Ashley!

A week off for Thanksgiving didn't slow down Monica when it came time for her and The Gravy Diggers to play. In the second hour of the night, Monica was by far the loudest and most spririted player this Wednesday. Having a great time from start to finish, she, kept her team in it! The energy in the gym was high thanks to Monica. Great week, bring it again next Wednesday!

Mike tried out a new look this week. With a long blonde wig, he made it an "all girls" team this week. While he didn't keep his lovely locks on long, he did make a big impact for his team. Win or lose, Sets on the Beach had the most fun this week! Great work Mike and Gang!

The long holiday break didn't put a wrench in Ben Anderson's game. Down by 7 points in the first game, he served 9 straight to get them back in the game and eventually take the win! He had his team behind him to help out with the win! A couple great saves in the second game lead to a 2-1 victory for "Who Give a Hit". Way to go Ben and Team!

This week Juan came to play and it showed through in his serves. In Who Gives a Hit's first game against Spike Club, Juan had two great serving rallies to win two close games where neither team led by more than 3 points in either game! Juan helped his team win close 25-23 games in the second round tonight. In the championship game, his serves again brought them back from a 5 point defecit to tie the game. It was a great night for Juan! Good work and bring it back next season!
