Spring Softcore/Midcore Co-Ed Volleyball at Southeast PDX Courts Tuesdays

This weeks player of the week goes to Jordan of Ball Me Maybe. Jordan was absolutely clutch in his game Tuesday night, as he contributed to his teams win with his skills and his can-do attitude-- he even had the game winning serve. Highlight of the game: Jordan get bulldozed by a fellow teammates, picks himself up, and keeps playing like a champ. For that you are this weeks player of the week. Congratulations Jordan and keep up the good work!

This weeks player of the week goes to Rebecca "Becs" Armistead of the Homeless cougars! This week the Homeless Cougars had a tough match-up against the Swingers- I'm talking endless rallies and neck and neck scoring. The third game was anybodies game, but Becs kept her head in it with her awesome setting, and super high energy. This girl was cheering on her teammates regardless of what the score was, and offering words encouragement to everyone when they needed it. Way to be a leader Becs!

This week's player of the Week goes to William Boyd of the Homeless Cougars, or as he is known by his teammates-- the "Silent Killer." Will was all over the place Tuesday night with his awesome defensive skills, going after every ball with total dedication and determination. Even when an opponents hit nailed him just a few too many inches below the belt for comfort, he shook it off with impressive fortitude and kept playing as though nothing had happened. What guts!
