In a match that should have consisted in some alcohol-fueled action between the Drunkies and Soggy Nacho there was a considerably less amount of liquid flowing than one would expect. Team of the Week goes to Drunkies for the quote after the game of, "we were too sober to play today!"

While pitching a decent game Barry broke out some kick-a ninja moves that are worthy of top ten plays of all time! Fielding a bunt down the 3rd base side, Barry had his back totally turned towards the 1st base side. So what to do? How about throw your body backwards while throwing the ball over your head and blindly nailing the runner with a line-drive throw towards first. Straight up NINJA!

There aren't too many spectators usually for the first game of the day each Sunday. So when the opponents of Drunkies showed up a bit short on players they wanted to make sure they still had a good time. The Drunkies didn't just loan their opponent one player to get them up to minimum but they loaned them 3 in order for them to have a much more healthy nine players. Way to go Drunkies, you encompass the spirit of Underdog and just having some fun!

Stacy was all over the field Sunday and seemed to account for about 85% of the outs on defense for Soggy Nacho. Just an all around great effort keeping the Soggy Nacho defense stingy and propelling them to a big win.

In a game that looked like it was going to Soggy Nacho from the start WLB (Winners Losers & Boozers) came back with a vengence in the final two innings. Down 7-1 they scored three runs in the 6th and followed it to take a 9-7 lead in the top of the 7th. One of the key sparks to this comeback was Neal's massive deep line drive that everyone knew was a HR the moment it left his foot. With WLB riding Neal's momentum they stormed back and were able to hold on to take the playoff win!

Michael after going down with a nasty injury was the one that had the best spirits regardless of the situation the entire day. While in pain on the ground he keep asking if he could have Player of the Game and wanting to see if they served beer at the hospital for when he got there. Michael - we love your enthusiasm but hopefully it won't be under these circumstances again. You rock!
