Spring Co-ed Softball at Westmoreland Mondays

On occasion, sports offer a platform for an athlete to transcend the competition and the game played. Such was the case when Megan of Hot Off the Pandemic transcended softball with her elite performance.  Throughout the game, Hot Off the Pandemic turned to Megan when they needed a play. Time and time again, Megan answered the call, recording multiple hits and amazing fielding plays along the way. For her truly skilled performance, Megan is our Player of the Week! Congratulations!

Nik had a great game this week. He pitched really well and had a shutout through 6 innings. He also hit a home run! Congrats on being this weeks Player of the Week!

This past Monday at Westmoreland Park, Nik of Hot off the Pandemic came up clutch when his team needed him most. During the bottom of the 7th inning, Hot off the Pandemic needed one run in order to secure the win and be crowned champions once again. Being down in the count early at 1-2, Nik needed to pull through for his team. With a runner on first, Nik knew the time was now and rose to the occasion. The next pitch, he sent a shot to deep right center splitting the defense perfectly. With aggressive base running, Hot off the Pandemic was able to walk it off and win the championship! For coming up big in the game’s most intense moment, Nik is our player of the week. Congratulations!
