Jacque is the poster child for a team player this week. She started by putting together a solid game for her team. Once she finished there she seamlessly filled in during the next two games for a team down a player. While playing for this weeks double header team she put up two more solid games with consistent batting and strong fielding. Her dedication to the sport and her desire to keep playing is always refreshing to see.

Things didn't start well for Jeff. After a disastrous attempt at 'bating' ending with a reluctant head-burred-to-the-chest walk back to the dugout after striking out, it didn't help his cause when his team started heckling him at every subsequent at-bat.

Followed by a 4 pitch walk, Jeff looked to turn his luck around with one swing of his bat...and he did.

Ushering in a solo HR in the 4th, he reclaimed his manhood and displayed his colors in the field with a game-ending diving catch.

"I don't always get on base, but when I do, I touch 'em all."

Hustle is the name of the game for Justin. While playing a roving center field Justin easily covered most of the outfield during both double header games for his team today. His commitment to playing full speed for the whole game is always nice to see. Not only did he have a strong showing in the outfield he had several solid at bats that kept his team withing striking distance in both games. His energy and enthusiasm for the sport was certainly on display today.

Katie is the kind of player that we look for. She arrives ready to play from the first pitch to the last out. She maintains a positive and pleasant attitude throughout the whole day. Regardless of whether her team sins or loses or her personal stats for the day, Katie is just happy to be at the park playing softball.
