Winter Co-ed Dodgeball at Friendly House Wednesday

Just as any good captain would do, Darcy trusted his team to bring home multiple victories tonight. So much so that he decided it would be best to see how they do without him for the first match. Needless to say, Accidental Awesomeness was on point tonight and it might not have been an accident! Showing up fashionably late in the second match of the night, Darcy didn't have time to stretch or warm-up. He did however, have time to do lines from the court to the sideline time and time again. The first one out on his team the first few games of the night, his team decided he was too valuable on the sideline. Immediately upon stepping on the sideline his team made a big catch just in time for Darcy to turn around and see the monumental play. Right back in he was and back to work dodging and throwing bullets towards the other team. Awesomeness is what we witnessed tonight from the entire team lead by Darcy.

Here at Underdog we love to see our players show up with a great attitude every week. Bryce is no exception as he always shows up ready to play. One thing we've noticed though is that every week his beard gets longer and he gets better. There is definitely something going on here because we have unconfirmed rumors that his beard has been making catches and throwing people out. Whatever he is shampooing that thing with must be working wonders because there is definitely reason to fear the beard and that is why Bryce is our player of the week!

In a high energy game against "the artful dodgers" Julienne Chandler was focused on one goal.....hit the most artful dodger of all...the man with the crazy, jumping, spinning, dipping, diving, hurt yourself to avoid the ball, dodging technique. In a brief moment of exhaustion...the dodger crouched to pick up a ball. At that exact instant, Julienne focused her energy on his only unprotected area...nope not what you are thinking....yep, his head! She wasn't mean or aggressive, she was precise. She tossed her bright yellow dodgeball and hit the ducking artful dodger right on the top of his dome piece. "you're out" called the referee and her team cheered and celebrated the win.
