Winter Co-ed Cornhole at Buffalo Wild Wings Wednesdays

Wednesday, January 15

Stepping Up!
Stepping Up!
POTW goes to Leroy who stepped it up and was playing both sides of the board this week! Leroy got in some serious cornhole time stepping up for a player that was absent on his team. Not only that, but he has a great Underdog player attitude--friendly to his opponents, willing to go the extra throw. Way to go Leroy!

Erin Quinlan
Erin Quinlan
Shut Your Cornhole!
Those new to Cornhole quickly learn not one player can carry a team for an entire match. Hot streaks can be found on any given night, yet rarely last for more than a game. With her first toss of the night, it was apparent Erin Quinlan of team Shut Your Cornhole! had something special planned for the evening. Toss after toss, point after point, high five after high five...Erin put the team on her shoulders and carried them to two stellar victories for the evening. Nice work Erin...the secret is out regarding the skills you bring to the Underdog league on Wednesday nights.

Daphne!
Daphne!
POTW goes to Daphne aka Allie for her winning cornhole skills while dressed as a member of Mystery, Inc. It's not mystery that Allie's skills helped her team to victory. At the end of the night, members of Tossed and Tossing were left scratching their heads and mumbling "...and I would have gotten away with it, too, if it hadn't been for you meddling kids!"
Nice work there, Allie! And in your quote of the night, "Daphne knows how to cornhole!"...INDEED!

Lindsay Gilmour
Lindsay Gilmour
Tossed & Tossing (Indy Team #C1)
Short on teammates yet long on confidence, Lindsay Gilmour of team Tossed & Tossing laced up her Uggs for the night and stood her ground for the last two matches of the evening. Manning the bags from both boards for the evening, Lindsay showed the confidence and skills only a seasoned player can bring to an evening of cornhole in Portland. Her creativity and accuracy were on display all night...all of her games were too close for comfort for the opposing teams. Nice work Lindsay...the miles you walked tonight were appreciated by your teammates and noticed by the opposing players.

Chanel Shavers
Maized and Cornfused (Indy #C2)
Team Maized and Cornfused started off as strangers to begin the season, yet by the time the playoffs got started they were a well oiled machine looking to be crowned 2014 winter cornhole champions. Chanel Shavers set the standard for the evening, scoring point after point in an amazing semi-final match featuring a sudden death toss off to determine a spot in the championship match. Team Maized and Cornfused ran out of gas in the championship match, eventually losing to Shut Your Cornhole! Thank you Chanel for your leadership, tossin' skills & laughter throughout this season...you truly embody the Underdog spirit!
