Bombers Win Back-to-Back Games for Championship

This was not a new spot for the Bombers as they once again found themselves in the mix for a championship bid. To start off the night, they had to get through the #2 seeded Humdingers. These two teams meet again after a spectacular comeback win by Humdingers in Week 1. Bombers made sure to close the door this time around with some incredible defensive plays on the field and getting the bats going early. Bombers were able to secure a strong victory to head into the championship game.

What some are say becoming the rival of the league, Bombers once again found themselves in the championship game against the Number 1 seeded Dickbat. Bombers got off to a hot start continuing their offensive attack from the game before. Pitchers from both teams were locked in all night long and allowing their team to make plays in the field. With a low scoring game going into the last few innings, Bombers extended their lead to 7 going into the final inning. The bats then really came alive as Bombers hit back to back to back home runs to gain a 13 point lead. Bombers closed the door in the final inning and secured the win defeating Dickbat. Congratulations, Bombers on the championship win!

L’ville Chuggers chug through two games for the Championship

The Underdog (no pun intended) team Louisville Chuggers took two wins tonight, as the lowest seed and wore home the wrist bands!
Spectacular catches all over the outfield by team captain Carl. Mac with near flawless pitching and Nick with a diving catch over his head to clinch the championship. We can’t leave out the POG Brandon who slapped 9 for 10 singles through the both games.
Kuddos to 2nd place team Balls Deep. They sent the balls deep keep the game interesting every inning. All three home runs were utilized and they pushed the champs every inning. The score was tied 14-14 going into the 7th but the Chuggers kept the momentum.

How are Standings Calculated?
Standings shown do not automatically adjust for tiebreakers. Tiebreakers may be adjusted manually prior to playoffs with head-to-head followed by runs/points allowed (or sets lost for Volleyball leagues) as the top 2 criteria. Forfeits may be calculated differently as stated below.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
