Mike came to play!!!
Most leagues throughout various levels of play and in most games these days you have your offensive players and your defensive players. In Underdog leagues you tend to have more hardcore players that go both ways.

Mike Souder took this to a whole new level yesterday during the 1st hours Men's League game between Doc Dynasty and Rip City. The game was a forfeit, but Rip City had a few players go over to Doc Dynasty to keep the game alive. Mike Souder stepped up and volunteered to be the games "all time center"

That means every single snap of the ball came from Mike. Pass route after pass route, Mike ran all over the field. In fact Mike even accounted for a few completely crazy diving catches in the end zone and on the field.

That's why Mike gets the nod for this weeks player of the week at Lewis and Clark. Way to go Mike, way to represent lineman everywhere and way to show the relentless hustle and the Underdog Spirit!

Christopher H. 'Player of the Week'
Christopher H. 'Player of the Week'
Legion of Boom
Chris of the Legion of Boom found himself in a soaking wet high scoring affair. In a game where the rain fell sideways Chris took to the ground to move the chains. He scrambled out of the backfield so often and so successfully that the defense resorted to containment. They sent two rushers just to limit the damage. Chris found a way though and the Legion of Boom prevailed. Congrats Chris on player of the week!

Gaiscioch
After a well deserved Thanksgiving break, Underdog Gentlemen's football kicked back into high gear on Sunday at Lewis & Clark. Starting the day off with back to back games was team Gaiscioch, a veteran team who entertains all of those involved whenever they step onto the field.
Leading the charge for Gaiscioch was Tony Davis, a wrong-handed gunslinger whose cannon of an arm kept both his receivers and defensive players on their toes the entire game. Tony was especially sharp this afternoon, dropping dime after dime all over the field in two tightly contested games. Even when he appeared to have thrown an easy interception, his rocket passes couldn't be secured by the defense, zipping through their hands and leading to another first down. Solid play by a great quarterback who knows how to keep an offense humming all game long.

Cromartie's Kids
In a highly anticipated 3:00pm match-up against RIP CITY, WA, team Cromartie's Kids showcased their veteran savviness and never give up attitude with a hard fought 40-32 victory at Lewis and Clark on Sunday.
Kraig led by example at the quarterback position all game long, throwing darts and scrabbling to keep a play alive if the circumstances called for it. His short memory over a bad pass or wrong play call is just what Cromartie's Kids needed in a must win game, bringing their record back to .500 in an up for grabs Gentlemen's division this season. Never count of Kraig and Cromartie's Kids when it comes to an Underdog flag football title run.

Jeremy Newton
Jeremy Newton
RIP CITY, WA
This weeks player of the week for the Men's League is Jeremy from Rip City, WA. Jeremy had a double header this week and was without a doubt the most energetic defender on the field for both games.

Whether he was rushing the passer, or making diving flag pulls, Jeremy's effort was contagious to his teammates and they played with great spirit.

Jeremy had numerous pass break ups and caused many QB scrabbles that ended up causing havoc for the opposing team.

Jeremy's play this week earned him the player of the week. Thanks for your efforts out there on the field today Jeremy.
