In an exciting match between the top 2 seed veteran teams, A Tribe Called Sets came out as champs. The 1st set was an exciting one - points were scored back-and-forth and Fromunda only lost by 2 points. Despite having just played a game prior, Fromunda picked up some steam and took the 2nd set, taking both teams to a 3rd tie-breaker set. In the 3rd set, both teams made points off of amazing kills and great defense but it was the unrivaled teamwork and consistency of the Tribe team that lead them to victory. Great job to both teams! In a riveting game between the Spike Tysons and Indy team Blockbusters, the Spike Tysons ended up victorious. The Blockbusters had just gotten done playing a game so the Spike Tysons were fresh and ready. The Spike Tysons took the 1st set, making some amazing kills despite the Blockbusters amazing defense. The Blockbusters found some steam in the 2nd set, attacking the ball more than the 1st set but the Spike Tysons held their own and kept the lead - with the final score being 26-24.
