Winter Co-ed Dodgeball at the Friendly House Wednesday

Winter dodgeball kicked off in fine fashion at the Friendly House on Wednesday night. Teams were pumped and focused all evening, with a great mix of veteran teams and fresh faces ready to make their mark in this always competitive league.
Making her presence felt early and often was Rebecca of team Keep calm and dodge on, a player who found herself on more than one occasion being the last person standing in their second match of the night. Keys to a successful defense in this situation...hold the ball tight next to the stomach, express a bit of fear in your face and get a serious case of happy feet.
While her team may have come up short on the scoreboard, Rebecca's no fear attitude and now patented defensive moves were an inspiration to her team and those who witnessed a rising star with Underdog dodgeball.

With the very last game of the evening in a tied up series between Nunchuck Fury and Force Kin, the teams were going hit for hit until Force Kin was at the advantage with 4 left vs 3 no Nunchucks. One of Force Kin's hard hitting males fired a ball at Ana thinking it would be an easy out and lead to victory but with astonishing reflexes Ana reached out and caught the ball to completely change the tides and give her the upper hand. This turn lead to the teams victory of the game and series!

The 7:30 matchup lived up to the hype between two solid teams...veteran team Ham defending its turf against up and comer team Wrench Dodgers. Tied 3-3 with time running out and one last game to decide the match, both Matt Warfield and Dillon Tannler went "Hollywood" with their games...weaving, jumping and making one outstanding out after another to seal a much needed victory over the always tough Ham.
Solid work guys...I'm sure Ponyboy and the rest of the crew are celebrating this impressive win at the Friendly House on Wednesday.
