Craig See
Craig See
Sea of Gravey
It was a fun, competitive, opening night of winter mid core. It was a matchup of returning teams, but Gravey's first match outside of softcore. The returning champs made a statement though, hustling, talking and making plays.
It was a well played team match, with everyone contributing, and Craig was no exception. Pumping up his team, talking and playing big from the front row and back. Adding the block of the night and always having fun, it was a heck of a match.

Bringing it all together
Second week of winter, felt mid season, as teams were plYing hard and having fun. The music playing brought the friendly, easy vibrations, with players getting there dance moves going. Albert provided the tunes for all, but kept his game to the team.
Serving tough, while covering the back row, passing nails and hustling. In the front, at the net, he was swinging hard and getting blocks. Nice all around match and thanks for the music.

Ball found its home
Starting of the night, before even playing, Corin was already saving the ball. The homeless Cougars only had 5 players, but they still came ready to play. Winning the first set, only awoke shake up the Butterflies. There were great rallies and hustle plays on both sides, but sacked was too much.
The Coigars were digging, talking and having fun throughout the match, winning or losing. Big time saves were made and shoes were cleaned, nice work Cougars. Corin was keeping the team mojo up, staying positive and cheering on her teammates

Sarah Lax
Sarah Lax
nothing but hustle
Starting off he night, right by getting a pre game team photo, Sarah was ready to play. All about the Ace didn't have their full team, but had 6 and their music, which was all they needed.nthey played a great match and won a game, but the Cougars and Monkey were too much.
Sarah was doing her part, playing the back row without fear, passing, digging amd diving, getting balls up to the setter. Scoring points by taking big approaches and spiking it at the net for kills, while adding serves. Nice match.

Drew Edwards
Drew Edwards
"Big Hoss"
One of the longer standing Underdog rivalries with E! true volleyball against the Homeless Cougars. lLoke usual there was a lot of cheering, fun and good volleyball. Everyone was making plays for E!, but Drew was doing it.
Talking, hustling, having fun and using his head, Drew was all over the court. Adding some big time hits, blocks, and the save of the night, from the ground, he was a on it. Great player but an even better guy, nice match.

To the window and the wall
Finishing off the regular season, same way as he started, Dustin was all hustle. Playing big at the net, spiking and blocking balls. He started fast, but the team started slow the first two games, but brought it together, loosened up and knew how it was going to be.
Getting in harmany, they brought it all together and played "in tune". Pulling out the third game win, 28-26, the finished on a high note. Nice match, it looked and sounded good.

E!, took on Gravy Diggers, the winners of the first match, as they had a bye. Gravy was loose and playing well, but this story had another ending as E would finish it.
Jeff was on his game, playing aggressive at the net, swinging and blocking. Adding some nice serves for points and hustling all over the court, he made the save of the night. A one arm, turning dig out of the net! Nice play and match.

Shaggin Balls
Brad Biddle of Shaggin' Balls comes prepared. There were no less than five shirt changes throughout the evening, and an arsenal of kills, aces, blocks and a secret something in his shoes to enable his body to soar to eye-boggling heights. Brad was the catalyst in Shaggin' Balls victory in the semi-final game vs. Sacked Buttrflies with a powerful presence as usual at the net. There was no response from the opposition whenever Brad's bombs hit their target and just out of reach of a dig. After three shirt changes, Brad continued his perfect kill placement in the championship match vs. E! True Volleyball Story. Shaggin' Balls found their backs against the wall after a first game loss, but Brad changed his shirt once again and with renewed freshness, he and his teammates stormed back to squeak by in a 27-25 win and then polish off the third game with a solid victory. Brad even changed his shirt a fifth time for the championship photo and added the USL wristbands to his ensemble. We know what Brad's doing to celebrate today....wash. Congrats!
