While Tom and the rest of the boys flew through the air delivery impressive spikes all evening, it was Amber's overall volleyball game that propelled her team to two impressive victories this evening at Beaverton Courts. Whether it be her pinpoint like serves or holding down the center of the court on defense, Amber's ability and willingness to get it done was appreciated by her teammates and a big reason they're currently 3-0 and tied for first place in a highly competitive league so far this season.

Brian didn't take a point off the entire match, hustling and diving all around the court in a "will this game ever end" kinda game on court 4. His sweat and determination inspired his teammates and propelled them to a memorable 27-25 victory and momentum setter for the rest of the evening.

The 9:00pm match up between Genesets and Serves You Right was competitive from the first serve, with both teams fielding a full squad and determined to make a strong showing at this point in the season.
Ed of team Genesets imposed his will early in the first game at the service line with a string of seven consecutive points that set the tone for the rest of the match. There were also a few sightings of his sneaky quick vertical leap, blocking a few spikes by the Serves You Right! front line & propelling his team to an impressive 5-1 record & second place standing heading into the home stretch of the season.

The 8:00pm match-up between Censored and Serves You Right! featured Anthony Casanova, a player you can't miss on the court due to his constant hustle and ability to verbally express what is happening on the court at any given moment.
His self-admitted trouble with keeping the score straight was overshadowing tonight by his stellar defense against a quality opponent. Anthony was around the ball the entire match, jumping, bumping and digging his way to an awesome display of an overall game necessary to keep his team close against Serves You Right! Although Censored may have come up short on the score sheet, Anthony's hustle was admired by both teams on this fine evening for volleyball at Beaverton Courts.
