Summer Softcore Kickball at Sewallcrest Park Sundays

Opening day for summer Seawall and Hot Mess, was anything but. Ready to have a good time and play some kickball, the music was playing and the attitudes were right. Hot Mess was ready from the start of or sham Bo, cheering on Sam before and after paper won
Aside from that she was moving and dancing on and off the field. Cheering her team on, hustling and having fun, it was a nice game! Good work and even better playlist.

After a rough start to the game, and trailing Smashing Pumpkins as the 6th inning started, La Kickaraca found their groove behind relief pitcher Patrick Bullock. Patrick moving in from SS to P helped take the bunt game away from the Pumpkins, and the energy translated into instant offense for Kickaraca. Patrick then stepped up and kicked a rocket that cleared the bases, bringing his team even with the Pumpkins, and avoiding the dreaded "L". Great job Patrick!

Ari returned from a week's vacation ready to put in work. Always a heady defender as 2 Legit's resident pitcher, Ari has also built a reputation for timely, powerful kicks, and today was no exception. During his first two at-bats, Ari reared back, and sent the red ball into orbit, only to land over the outfielder's heads. It would be easy to call it a day after these heroics, but Ari stuck around and helped #1 Kickball Team USA out when they were short a male. Way to go Ari!

Aaron had a rough first half inning during the first round of playoffs... he forgot his cleats. Not a big deal? Well it is when you fall on your backside while trying to field a ground ball. After some harassment from his teammates, Aaron's cleats arrived, and it was on. Big boots all over the outfield, some heady plays manning 1st base, and Aaron turned the jeers into cheers in no time. Way to bounce back Aaron!
