Despite the Volley Lamas defeat in the Wednesday Softcore Championships, Tasha Huntley's performance was an absolute standout. With her powerful service and canny ability to keep every ball in play, Tasha's energy and skill is second to none. The Volleys came out strong and won the first set behind Tasha's "one-arm, one-hand" defense - she can save a ball from pretty much any angle with her outstretched single limb. While ultimately her team was defeated in the second and third sets by the champion Dinkheads, Tasha's continually accurate setting and defensive work contributed to keeping the Volleys in close contention throughout each match. She's definitely a force to deal with a will to win, so watch out!
This weeks player of the week is Nathan Andress for his impressive playing! He had great serves including some aces! Nathan had on target passes and some good hits :) There was this great dig too! Good job Nathan!!
