In the game of Underdog Kickball, the greatest teams are the teams with the most love. Love of the game, the competition, beer, and their teammates. It is this same love that Kenny Poirier embodied by not only giving great back up for the pitcher from short stop, but also giving the pitcher a bear hug. You gotta love the love out there.
Congratulations, Kenny. You get the "for the love of the game" award!
This week's player of the week goes to Emily Cox for her outstanding catches at third. Her willingness to get dirty for the team made her the player of the week. As one ball was coming in the air towards third, she went to catch it turning out an awesome diving grab. It was a tremendous defensive play.
