It was a low scoring 1st half with great defense. Neither team seemed willing to allow the other into their e-zone.
Less then Perfect edged ahead with a couple of TDs in the second, however, Backyard, being the Ballers they are earned lived up to its name by fighting back. If only there was more time on game clock as Less Then Perfect prevailed.
It was a game defining drive. Erik Venning's play came up one yard short in a very close game. With first and goal from the 1 yard line Less Than Perfect would be sure to score. Then, after two failed plays in a row it was fourth down. Under a heavy rush Brian Tomalak threw it to the corner of the end zone. Rainy Aznoe went up for it made a great touch down catch and kept Less Than Perfect on top.
It could have been one of the biggest plays of the year. The Backyard Ballers were going for two points with no time left to tie the game. Erik Venning closed on the ball as though he was shot out of a cannon and returned it down the sideline to give the Less Than Perfect a four point victory going in to the playoffs.
