Scott Meeker Leads a Gallant Effort in Spiketastic Season Ender

Scott Meeker of Spiketastic isn't one to go down without a good fight, spike, set or serve. And he performs them all in great style. As captain of Spiketastic, Scott can regularly be seen on USL volleyball courts both inside and out. This is a guy who obviously enjoys the game whether his feet are playing on hardwood or sand. But we see a little different Scott when he plays barefooted and has the ability to throw his body all over the place. In the Midcore playoffs on Wednesday night at Eastmoreland, Scott led the Spikesters to 3-0 game win vs. Volley Ringwald by his nifty digs and easy touch at the net. Moving up the bracket, Spiketastic met a formidable foe in Nice Aces, who launched an all out battle on offensive kills which proved to be Scott and company's demise in the playoffs. But Scott and Spiketastic don't waste time contemplating their losses and end of the season, they just turn their attention to going back inside to the hardwoods of another court to continue their VB passion.
