Sir Eirean Bradley was runnin', divin', and rippin' holes in the butt of his pants all day Sunday. He understood what sacrafice meant to his team's success and made many offerings of his glasses and pants to be victorious. That's what I'm talkin' about!!!
Katie Baum was the life source of the Flamming Pumkins of Death on Sunday. If she wasn't hustling in the field or making great plays, you could find her doing cartwheels on the sidelines pumpin' her team up to victory!
Down by a ton of runs in the bottom of the 7th, Stephanie comes to the kicking box in a not-so-rare situation. Bases loaded and two away. The ball rolls ever so lowly and slowly to the plate and BADOOSH! A strong kick through the hole! Not one bobble, but two, three, and the first two runs are in. Still the defense tries to get the ball in, but there went the third across the plate. You'd think that was all with the ball coming into the infield, but NO! Here comes Stephanie barreling down the home stretch! There's the throw... she slides... and... GRAND SALAMI!
And the crowd, really does, go wild.
