The player of the week is Mitch the Choo Choo train Karnes of Alcoholics Anonymous. Once Mitch gets the ball he's the little engine that could all the way to the end zone. Mitch had five catches for the day and one touchdown adding to his season total of 38 catches and seven touchdowns in the historic Alcoholics Anonymous championship season.
The Underdog player of the week is Tommy "The Gun" Moore of the Alcoholics Anonymous support group/ flag football team. Tommy is known for his gunslinger approach at quarterback where every once in awhile he'll just throw one up there for anyone to catch. This may not help his stats however it does make for some very interesting plays that develop from Tommy's style of play. Nice week Tommy and AA for your impressive last .10 of a second win over The Green Room.
The player of the week is awarded to the Mud Dog Tyler Yates of the Alcoholics Anonymous recreation football team. Tyler has some sticky fingers because all Tommy Moore has to do is aim high and deep and the mud dog will catch the bomb for six. All of Tyler's touchdowns were over forty yards, which added up to an impressive 400 total yards for the day. Amazing week Tyler and nice contribution to the undefeated Alcoholics Anonymous ball club thus far.
