The evening was full of hilarity and great bowling from all the teams last Sunday, but it was Holy Rollers who pulled it all together for the championship! Two great games against Green Microgym and The Drinking Team With A Bowling Problem got them pushed Holy Rollers to the top of the heap and put the crown on their heads!
Motion to Strike started off the night with a ridiculous run of strikes and no-taps, putting them well ahead of the no-tap championship game from the start. 7 coupons before the 3rd frame! Wow! M2S was able to keep the ball rollin' (hehe, get it?... ball rollin'? Right...) all the way through to the end and the win!
I'd say that M2S must have gleaned some power from the massive "Oh, Spare Me" spirit machine for their win, but O,SM totally brought out all the greatness of King Pin/Lebowski night to bring home a title of their own. A close Spirit Ticket championship that roared, danced, costumed and sang all throughout the season saw Oh, Spare Me walk away with the Spirit Championship! Nicely done, sirs and ladies!
Those nerds are a threat to our way of life! POTW goes to Julie for awesome participation in Nerd Night AND her sweet bowling skills. She came straight outta Revenge of the Nerds, reppin' Omega Mu. It must've helped her game, because she bowled two pretty respectable games! Way to go, Julie!
