After a bit of a winter slumber from Sewallcrest, El Diablo came back with a hunger to repeat as champs! Of course it didn't come easy as Jayson did all he could to get himself some extra rest on the bench. First by being a human target while running the bases then shortly after being on the losing end of a bull-rush while playing defense at first base! Although it was Jayson that gave up his body, it was Kevin who showed everyone his foot. We still think Kevin just closes his eyes and hopes he kicks the ball but today he managed to pull out an impressive GRAND SLAM to earn El Diablo bragging rights yet again!
Even though it was the Roboticos day no one can deny the unbelievable spirit of Kicking Sunday Mass! Heading into the playoffs last week they had yet to ever win a playoff game. Well that changed and they weren't just happy with one win in the playoffs...they made it three to make it all the way to the championship! Awesome!
Nick's fierce dedication to the kickball basics of spin moves, bobble catches, the Fonz, and "the leadened foot" has made him Right Field Man #1! Amazing defense, hilarious follies, and more kicks than you can shake a beer at. Nicely done, sir!
