Spring Softcore Co-Ed Kickball at Sewallcrest Park Sundays

Danielle "3-step" Pannell is this weeks player of the week. Her awesome head-first slides 50 feet from first base look amazing but are they really effective? The only thing we could really find wrong with her shuffle is that it happened in the first inning...just prior to her husband, Kevin, arriving so he wasn't able to see this acrobatic display. In an amazing first game back Danielle still has a bit to go in the, "leave my balls alone" category as she didn't really take to heart yelling at the umpire for helping her out as catcher...but she'll get there!

Though Marty Chan had a homerun in this weekend's game and his team won, he receives player of the week for "bringin' the party". His teammates fed off of his energy and his zany optimism propelled 'Revenge of Humpback' to victory. If only we were all so fortunate to have Marty bring us the party.

Zach came out ready to play on Sunday, almost leading the Hollywood Ballers to their first victory. Zach pushed the Hollywood Ballers to unprecedent 8 runs, however, Ballers were still unable to taste victory. Zach didn't tast victory on the field, however, he was able to taste a hot Brat straight off the grill and that Brat has the taste of victory all over it!!!

They may not be the fastest, most athletic group of the league but they sure have just as much fun as any other team! The Hollywood Ballers took on another season with no fear and brought their "A" game with them. They started the season off strong with very close games the first few weeks until late in the game. With numerous shut-out defensive innings in the first few weeks they were even ahead after the first half of the game sometimes. This week they played the number one ranked team so things started a little different but the Ballers still had the best play of the day! John's awesome phone-call while he was at first base brought a cheer from both benches and beat out all other plays of the da for the best of the week!
