The Championship game featured Balls of Fury vs Drei Streifen. The game would not be decided in regulation, instead it took 8 innings for a Champion to be crowned. Drei Striefen was up 8-7 in the top of the 7th inning only to see Balls of Fury plate two runners to take the lead 9-8. In the bottom of the 7th Drei strifen tied it up on a clutch two out single. In the 8th, Balls of Fury would not score in their half of the inning giving Drei Streifen a chance for a win. Win they did, as Todd Kushner reached base on a two out double. KC Puppo would then come up and kick in Kushner for the winning run. Drei Streifen defeats Balls of Fury 10-9 in 8 innings.
KC won the championship game for Drei Streifen on a walk-off boot, with two outs, in the 8th inning of a fabulous game. His kick gave Drei Steifen the championship win 10-9 over a good Balls Of Fury team.
It wasn't the closest of plays in the world, until Megan ended up on her back and part of 1st. The trooper that she is, Megan dusted herself off, took the base, and readied herself for the kick. It made have slowed her down a bit, but Megan shook herself off and helped her team get the victory.
