Summer Midcore Kickball at Alberta Park Tuesdays

It wasn't the closest of plays in the world, until Megan ended up on her back and part of 1st. The trooper that she is, Megan dusted herself off, took the base, and readied herself for the kick. It made have slowed her down a bit, but Megan shook herself off and helped her team get the victory.

Blood, Sweat, and Beers were down a good handful of runs late in the game, but an amazing play by Alex helped pump his team up. Alex launched a caught ball from the outfield toward first. About 5 seconds later it reached 1st, pegging the runner off guard and out before he could get the tag up. If was definitely a boost for his team and a play worthy of cheers from both sides.

Monica and The Babes were up by a few innings toward the end of the game, but Balls of Fury were hot on their heels. Some solid defense was needed and that's what they got. Monica nabbed 4 catches in the last two innings including the final 2 outs. Great hands, Monica.

Clockwork Orange came into the opening round of the playoffs ranked #1 and rolled to a 20-9 victory over Balls Deep. On what seemed like a normal day at the office however, Jason McMahan not only broke hearts, but he also punished kickballs, repeatedly. Jason kicked the air and life out of 2 balls on Tuesday, one of which would result in one of his 2 homeruns on the day. Nice follow through on that kick Jason!
