Thursday night saw the end of the Alberta Park Tuesday and Thursday league with a showdown between FPO and We've Got the Runs. It was one of the cooler nights of the summer and most of the smoke had (finally!!) cleared but that didn't stop We've Got the Runs from being on fire! They game out of the gate strong with a nine run first inning. FPO did what they could to chip away at the lead but the bats remained hot for the Runs! Pitcher TJ stood out by throwing a complete game on the mound while smashing two stand-up triples. All in all it was a great way to end the Summer league at Alberta Park!
In the 7th inning, with 2 outs the pitcher was able to tip a line drive with his glove and with full extension the SS James made a bare handed catch from his back to end the game!!!! Amazing
