On a blistering hot Sunday at Peninsula, 2 Legit 2 Kick were down 2 of their flagship players, Ari and Shannon. As they left on their Japanese excursion, Souza took over Shannon's post at 3rd base, and absolutely crushed it. Catching two hard line drives, and strategically placing some hard to field bunts, Souza kept 2 Legit's spirits up during the heat wave. She even stayed after to play some pick-up games during the forfeits!
This POTW write-up is an odd one, only because of what Chase did while subbing for Gang Green. He was solid as usual for 2 Legit 2 Kick, in their victory over Going Off Constantly, but Chase brought out the hammer when filling in for the injured Tom Holiday on Gang Green. Chase laid into a pitch in the 4th inning, sending the ball over the second baseman's head, and used his lightning fast speed to kick his first ever grand slam! Great job Chase! Now everyone will believe you because it will live on the internet forever!
