Midcore Championship finals at Eastmoreland on Thursday night was a great battle between Awkward High Fives and Sets on Sets on Sets. Awkward High Fives have been together so long they know exactly what their teammates can do and they do it all well. With Angelina and Tobie taking charge of the serves and Matt and Chad pounding away at the net, the foursome got the job done in quick fashion winning all three sets. Sets on Sets on Sets provided some athletic and determined competition, but just couldn't find a defense against what Chad was throwing down at net. No awkwardness here - they're champs and quite confident!
The volleyball net is where Chaudrey Boyd of Awkward High Fives seems to feel right at home. He can cover the front row like nobody's business because that net business is his! In an intense match with Sand Stuff, Chaudrey got his jump on and was a blocking maniac putting up amazing defensive moves against Sand Stuff's onslaught of attacks and kills. Chaudrey is a spiking machine as well and it's his flight factor that is the difference in getting the offensive and defensive edge versus the opponent. Balls up and here comes Chaudrey to find it!
