History

The Gaiscioch (pronounced Gosh-Kia) program began originally in San Jose, California as a social gaming & athletics community. In 2001 - 2004 the Gaiscioch fielded 2 Flag football teams, and a softball team. When founder Benjamin Foley moved north to Eugene, OR the team came with him forming up the Gaiscioch Football team for 2 seasons. Now in their 4th season since moving to Oregon the Gaiscioch have formed up a Portland, Oregon team for the Men's Flag Football League ran by Underdog Sports Leagues for Summer 2011.

In the coming years we hope to have year round flag football teams in both the Men's league and the Co-Ed league. If you are interested in playing with us and live in the Portland, Oregon area please contact us and we'll get you set up.
