A couple times during this week's games I had to stop and check if the volleyball nets were indeed up to their proper height. This is mostly because when Dave hits the ball he seems to be coming from at least a foot above the net. All equipment was indeed up to regulation, so it must be some magic that lets him serve and hit so well while having such a cheery attitude. The Swingers work together like a great team, and Dave's ridiculous jump serve is just the icing on the cake to their victories!
Who needs sleep when you can play in your pajamas. We had players in White Tiger Onzies, silk button ups and even in the holiday spirit with Valenties Day Boxers. The swingers brought their spirit and energy to their first appearance at the SE PDX courts. Way to go Swingers!
