Settings Ducks took home the championship tonight in a close flight match against No Diggity. The first set went into overtime but Setting Ducks couldn’t snag the win. This fueled their fire and they can back to win the next two sets. Theses games had big hits and big blocks, the points went back and forth. It was a tough match but Setting Ducks stayed consistent and calm. Great win tonight!
The championship match up, #1 Setting Ducks vs #2 No Diggity and they didn’t disappoint. Forcing three sets Settings Ducks came out with the win Set 1: 27-29 Set 2: 25-22 Set3: 25-19! A big part of that was player of the week Paige Meyer! She played a consistent game all the way through and had a countless number of saves. On one save she was close to the net, reached down and was able to pop the ball up and over the net claiming the point! She continued to hustle, even diving and rolling to being the ball back in play. Way to go tonight Paige!
