History

In the spring of 2011, misfits from around the Portland area converged on a team of kickballers whose talent on the field was raw and unrealized, but whose talent at the bar was the stuff of legends. Forging a bond over post-game drinks one fateful day that spring, this ragtag crew was introduced to a drink so simple in its execution yet so powerful in its delivery that it shook us to our very core...the Madras. Crisp, refreshing, and easy to mix in large batches for team consumption, it became our fuel. In homage to our namesake, we donned the hot pink uniform (complete with lime green accents), and lo and behold our brand of fun kickball was born. We will rock our music, we will rock our hot pink gear...we will rock your world!

Kick Madra$$

Normally we like to honor players of the week. However, Kick Madra$$ as an entire team deserves the honor for this week. Kick Madra$$ played a tough game and eventually lost to Merino Ball Breakers in their first championship game. Even though it was the first loss Madra$$ had all season, the whole team kept the vibe going with stellar music and positive attitudes. Kick Madra$$ were far from sore losers this week and were exemplars of FUN! At the end of the day we play kickball for fun and it's awesome to see a team take that to heart. Great season Kick Madra$$ and we look forward to seeing what you can do in the Fall!
