Canada?

A Team of Pauls?

Normally, I would single out one particular player, and make sure that their day lived in infamy on the interwebs... this week however, I cannot under sound mind, do anything but give a Team of the Week to the always loveable, always in costume Canada?.

Why? The reason is simple. Look at their current team photo. Do a double take. That's a team of kickballers ALL dressed as their favorite Underdog official, Paul. Yes, me. I may sound a bit self-serving here, but having an entire team that has gone to the lengths of wearing the red polo shirt, the black shorts, the white visor, the aviator shades AND took the time to not only use black marker to color in beards, ear gauges, and even draw tattoos and make shift lip rings. That's commitment. There was even some posture studying and some authentic Paul-esque moves.

You've truly outdone yourselves Canada?. I, for once, am not only speechless, but humbled. It's truly a pleasure to spend my Sunday afternoons with with players with this kind of commitment to having fun. Visors off to you!

Danny Klube

Canada?

On a day where Canada? admittedly were missing some of their usual power kickers, Danny Klube (in full mountie gear per usual) picked up the slack with a towering left-footed blast over the right fielder's head to set the tone for a big opening day win. Looks like all that crossfit is paying off Danny!
