The Honey Nut Ichiros came into the championship game with only one loss on the season. From the very beginning of the game the came out fighting and put some runs on the board. From the beginning of the game you could tell they wanted the when and they showed it with their excellent defense and solid hitting with heads up and smart base running. This teams successful season was absolutely a team effort with different people shining each week. This team knows what it means to work together and trust your teammates and it sure showed on the score board when they won the championship game on Monday night.
