What a great team effort by the Straight Shots to secure the Wednesday Softcore Championship at Tubman! While Crystal received POTW, the rest of her team was in close contention. Cruising their way to the finals by beating the Volley Lamas in two games in the semifinals, the Straight Shots were more than ready to face Sportland in the championship. Led by Jeff and Karina's strong service, Renee and Dan's back court defense and setting and Crystal and Kevin's kills and tips at net, the Straight Shots secured a 25-13 game one win. Game two saw the Straight Shots experience a momentum surge from Sportland and drop the set, 25-22. They regrouped and charged back for a final 25-19 win in game three and the victory. A great way to end the season with an exciting match and win in hand for the Straight Shots!
