Spring Co-ed Midcore Kickball at Unthank Park Sundays

Orange-a-tang pulled off a great win in the season opener, but more importantly they did it with the inspiration of bumpin' tunes and sideline go-go dancers! Orange-a-tang (or Citrus Poon, if you will) rolled a huge amplifier onto the field to flood the field with music and had sideline cheerleaders fully oranged out and dancing their precious team into the win from inning number one through to the final out! Pure awesome...

Ira Ira Ira tore it up this last Sunday. He went straight from the parking lot to the plate in his first at bat for a smokin kick for a hit. He got three hits and a win. To top it off, Ira was the first person to be struck out burping! Beverages before the kick will get ya!

Dr. Rosen had the remedy on Sunday against any bunt of munt. If he got his hands on the ball, he was throwin' the runner out no problem. Ladies and munters, if ya wanna win, don't bunt!

As the rain came down on Unthank, wetting the fields and creating mayhem in almost each and every play out there in the mud, one man pulled it all together for his team. Brandon "Rainman" Perard seemed to feed off the wet weather last Sunday. While the rest were slipping and sliding all over the field, Brandon was making ridiculous diving catches and pitching a near perfect game. Oh, AND an in-the-park homerun? Heck yeah! That's what we call one man's game of pure perfection in the rain. Nicely done, Sir Rainman!

Kevin "The Cold Slicer" Andrews was an animal on Sunday. Cool, calm, and collective was his attitude. Ballin', Shot callin', and mad whack kicks were his actions. In his first game he hit a game game winning kick in extra innings. In his second game he hit a game tying wamo jambo to left to tie the game, that helped advance Ball Stars to the championship. Great job broseph!
