Ball Stars topped Orange-a-tang 5-4 in an epic thriller! The game went back and forth with each team battling to stay on top. Ball Stars tied the game 4-4 and in the bottom of the 7th decided enough was enough. After recording the second out at 1st, Orange-a-tang attempted to throw a runner out at third as Whitey "White Lightning" advanced from 1st to 3rd. However, the throw was off and gave an opportunity for whitey to throw on the afterburners and take home for the win! The bottles were poppin and the team mobbed at home!
Mad props to all the pitchers that gave lights-out-defense. Dr. Rosen of Orange-a-tang and his lazer rocket arm silenced most of the opposition on the day. Elliot of the Ball Stars led his team making plays left and right. Kevin Andrews was the highlight of the playoffs. He had two MVP's out of three games with a game tying bomb and a game winning knock!
