The Underdog player of the week is the highly recruited Katie Sokolowski of the Chris's Team ball club. As a rookie she has been great with five catches, one sack, eight flag pulls, one two point conversion and one broken pair of glasses to prove it. Katie and her well rounded stats for the week has put her in the front running for the Underdog rookie of the year, especially for her non stop hustle on the field and her ability to make plays when her team needs it most.

The Underdog Player of the week is the play maker "Mr. Football Matt Muller of the Hardcore Fun Seeker crew. Matt always finds the end zone no matter what kind of pass rush you put on this guy. Matt uses his legs to scramble around and create havoc in the defensive back field then delivers a neatly placed ball to score six. Excellent week Matt and keep on adding the footage to your personal highlight reel, your grandchildren will enjoy it.

The Underdog Player of the week is the talented Anthony Davis of the Blood, Sweat, and Beers ball club. Anthony is the Payton Manning of the Underdog League, he keeps the defense guessing with his audibles at the line and play calling for the offense. Over two games he was 28 for 36, with five touchdowns and one interception, which was impressive in the slippery wet whether and the strong pass rush from both teams. Great week Anthony and good luck with the upcoming games.

The Underdog Player of the week is Emily Pringle of the Cornhole ball club. Emily and her crew upset the heavily favored Alcoholics Anonymous team and managed to run up the score. Emily alone ended two fourth down plays by heavily rushing the passer and forcing a sack and an interception on the play. She also had one touchdown catch for the go ahead score. Congrats Emily and great win Cornholes.

Who says Underdog is not about fun? Try telling this to the Player of the Week, Lenny Howell. Not only did Lenny lead his team to a victory with tenacious flag pulls (5), but he did this while running up and down the field in a miniature batman outfit (minus the cape and mask). To add more intimidation to the opposing team, he also came out on the field wearing a pink, little skirt and a birthday-cone-hat. At halftime the score was close, but he wasn't worried as he posed for the cameras taking pictures as it wear a photo session. Nice job Lenny. Way to represent your team and Underdog in having a blast. Congratulations!

Amazing finish to this fall season's finale. This week we have a shared Player of the Week award. Congratulations to Valerie Gonzales and Jeff Mumford from Balls and Dolls.
With a Championship on the line, a muddy field and the rain splashing on your face, both these players shinned and won a championship for their team. With under 2 minutes to play and down by 1, Jeff Mumford stretches out in the sky to pull down a pass in the back of the end zone while tip-toeing in bounds before falling out....An amazing grab that should be on sportscenter.
With less than 20 seconds left and Farve Dollar Footlong about to score, a pass gets thrown in the end zone and out of nowhere Valarie Gonzales steals the pass for a game saving interception to seal the deal for Balls and Dolls.
Congratulations to both players, they truly displayed their heart and love for the rain.
