Most of the season it has been the hot bats that has propelled Cul-de-sac Pack to wins. In a defensive battle against Solid C+, it was there defense that held their opponent to 6 runs. A special play was made by Ryan B at first base with a full extension tag out to end an inning! When the dirt cleared he was at the plate hitting his second in the park homerun! The energy was high all game and we want to say congratulations to everyone involved in an exciting Championship game!

Are you kidding me!? This was a back and forth battle all night long featuring 5 lead changes! Highlight plays all night long from both teams. The One Hit Wonders stormed into the lead with a 10 run 4th inning to take a 6 run lead. It appeared the lead would hold until the top of the 6th. Mound control regained control with a 7 run inning! The lead was taken back in the bottom of the 6th for The Wonders.
However, Mound Control would not be denied and put up a big 6 runs in the top of the 7th! They never gave up and relied on their clutch first baseman Emily to lock up the game with her defense at first base! 21-16 final score. Congratulations to Mound Control and One Hit Wonders on special seasons! Can’t wait to see you guys on the diamond again!
