It wasn't flashy. it didn't need to be. The Misfits came out on a rainy Sunday and did everything they needed to do, making catches, moving runners along, and staying fundamental in their game. "Dizzy" Daniel patrolled the outfield, Clark kept everyone's head in the game, Ben lead by example, locking down the right side of the infield. No pizzazz necessary. Just a championship, and on to the next one.

Usually, an indy team takes a while to gel. They need to learn the game, learn their teammates tendencies, learn to do it all. Biyeee Week was not the typical indy team when they started a few seasons ago. They quickly picked up the rules, the style, and with their above-average athleticism, they quickly became a tight unit. This season, that quick ascension up the learning curve culminated in their first championship as a team. The girls brought the intensity. The boys provided the timely kicking. Together, they have tasted sweet, sweet victory... now can they capture that feeling again?
