Winter Co-ed Flag Football at Lewis and Clark Sundays

Sunday was filled with close games and amazing match ups. Many of the games were defensive contests, but the night cap was an offensive explosion. In the showdown between Roustabouts and Return of the Cuddle, it was the team formerly known as Cuddle Closet pulling the upset over the defending champs, 60-52.

Micah Moran's performance stood out on the path too victory, and not only earned Player of the Game honors, but also Player of the Week!

Sometimes it's not always talent that earns acclaim, it's being an innovator. After hundreds of football games in a year, it seems like we've seen everything atleast once. Blood, Sweat, and Beers, however, did something we never saw before.

With their opponents driving deep in their territory, BSB needed a stop; Todd Thompson jumped up and snagged the interception in the end zone. Instead of taking a knee or running it out, Todd lateraled the ball to his teammate; however, his teammate was a few yards ahead of him--still in the end zone. Illegal forward pass penalty in the end zone equals safety. The team still won, but it was rare opportunity to see something brand new in Underdog.
