Both these teams came ready for a fight, but Safe Sets really set the pace in the first set that was hard to beat. The second set was back and fourth right up to the final point, securing the win for Safe Sets. It was great to see these softcore teams improve these past few months, ending their season with a high-level championship match with beautifully executed three-touch plays. What a game! Both teams came ready to work tonight, fighting for the midcore league championship after a tough season with stiff competition. Merry Miscreants proved victories, securing their win in the first two sets. They were executing beautiful three touch plays and sending over deadly serves and spikes. Bad Apples didn't make it easy for the Miscreants- they were playing really well together and put up quite a few mighty spikes and blocks that were unstoppable. Both teams looked like they were having a great final game and ended the season with big smiles on their faces. Congrats to Merry Miscreants!

Block the Patriarchy, who started as an Indy team this season, has been such a fun group to watch. They really act like a family, communicating like they've known each other for years. After two tough back-to-back games tonight, including loosing a player in the championship game to an injury, Block the Patriarchy had good reason to celebrate when they fought for their win, gaining some much needed sweat bands. G Unit put up great fight, making all three sets competitive and fun. Special shoutout to Anna, who is moving overseas and will be very missed by her teammates.
