Devin Walker from Vollyball Junkies came excited and ready to play. He took his rookie energy and power out on the ball any chance he got. The hair on his arm stood on end from sheer bliss of being on the court. Devin had some amazing saves as well as finessed dives and bumps with more than one of his team mates. Not only was he an energetic player on the court, he also saved the night by jumping the fence to rescue a wayward. Thanks Devin and great game!

Hang Your Ace Out showed up with extrasensory perception (esp) tonight. Their communication was unmatched, along with their serves and perfect sets. Straight out of the gate Liz stood out as the bright green super star with her hustles and saves. Their amazing team work brought about three wins. Awesome night HYAO!

A few Profane Pandas mixed it up with some Astronauts tonight to play against the Arlington Sandtastics. In a game that probably wouldn't have happened with out these extra playing go-getters!

The mix to create to Profane Astronauts turned into a very fun hour of volleyball to watch, but these 3 kept the night going and had a blast. While they didn't beat the Arlington Sandtastics, they played a great game!

Pound Sand had the right idea tonight, they finished off Labor Day weekend the right way.....Beer'd Up. This weeks Player of the Week goes to the whole Pound Sand Team.

After a warm up game Pound Sand Beer'd Up for their game against To Kill a Blockingbird. And they made sure to stay hydrated for a very close first two games. While to Kill a Blocking Bird may have had more points at the end of the night, they didn't have more fun that Pound Sand.

Pound Sand is a great team to watch and they always have a great time. Way to go Pound Sand! See you next week!

Doesn't matter if it is week 1 or week 7, Liz out hustles everyone. And tonight she did just the same. There aren't many volleyballs that drop around Liz without the fullest effort to get to it put forth. She is a great player to watch, keeps everyone positive and heads in the game! When she off the court she is cheering and keeping focus. She really has the best of the Underdog Spirit.

It was cold and a little wet, but that didn't stop the Volleyball Jukies from bringing it all out.....on the dance floor that is. As the music played the Junkies continued to dance. And they danced to warm up just in time for a 3rd game victory. Thanks for always bringing the party Junkies! See you next summer when the Oregon sun comes back!
