Hang your out was named our Softcore Late Summer Woks Up Champions after a long warm up and a little bit of beer.....
It could have been stratagy for To Kill a Blockingbird to make Hang Your Ace Out wait it out but the warm up only helped them win it in 2 straight.
The first game of the night was a close one, with extra points needed. Back and forth until a greatly place ball took game 1.
Hang Your Ace out wasn't going to make it a barn burnner again and they came swinging away in game two. With some great digs by Liz and some awesome hitting from Juan they stole the game with a 5 point win.
Great season Hang Your Ace Out!

The Volleyball Junkies and Profane Pandas squared off for our midcore 2 championship.
The Pandas came out strong in game 1. They were at the net and ready to send back anything that headed their way. They caught the Junkies dancing a little bit too much to that Usher coming from the speakers.
But game two and three the Junkies meant business and after they were warm and a few layers were taken off, they didn't look back. Not much got by them in game two.
Game three, no one was messing around. Especially the Volleyball Junkies. They served and didn't look back as they took a solid 11 point win from the Pandas.
Great work tonight Junkies, we know we will see you back in May!

For a team that started out as Indy in the begining of the summer, they made their return with a few changes in the line up and they were ready to go!
Like a Race are and DRC played a hard fought game of great sand volleyball tonight. One of the best games all season, they went point for point most of the night. Two great teams that took it three games.
Game 1 Race Car battled out a 21-17 win. They placed some great hits and blocked some hard hits from the DRC. But DRC wasn't going down with out a fight and they came back tough in game 2, with a comanding 21-10 win. They didn't come out in the cold wet sand for nothing.
But Race Car was mad after an 11 point loss and they were ready to go for gold. They had played undefeated seasons without the wrist bands and they were not going home alone tonight. So they buckled down, and focused.
The the wrist bands went home with the Race Cars tonight. They were well deserved and worn proudly.
Thanks to both teams for putting on a great game tonight, see you in a few months!
