A hot and dusty Rose City Park was home to the spring Co-ed Softball championship for this season. The game pitted the one seed Fireballz against the 3rd seeded Indy team. The Indy team would have their work cut out for them with only 8 players available for the game. However, they would not go down without a fight though and put up a 4 run first inning easily batting through their lineup. Fireballz answered in the bottom of the 1st though and the game was all tied up. The back and forth fight continued until the bottom of the 3rd inning. Here Fireballz used their directional hitting ability and the lack of outfielders to put up a nine run inning. Indy was able to cut the the lead to only 5 in the top of the 5th but the Fireballz matched it equally. Fireballz held on and won another Co-ed Championship. Both teams played their hearts out and there were plenty of high fives and laughs between each team at the end of the game. A great end to spring season.

On a beautiful day in portland, Richardbat...AKA Dickbat, had only one thing on their mind, their mascot. If you have ever seen them play you would know the importance of Mr. Mustachio and the special bat they carry around for extra motivation. On this championship day, dickbat won their first game and advanced to the championship...they headed to the sponsor bar to prep for the finals but were quickly called back to the field as Alpha Ecological were nowhere to be found. After a forefit win, the Italian Stallions advanced to the championship and were ready to take the wrist bands home. However, dickbat had a different idea. The rain poured, the field became a complete disaster but everyone agreed to play through. Players waddled their way around the bases...often slipping and sometimes falling. It was chaos and pure joy. In the end, dickbat had several long home runs with players on base and built a lead that the Stallions couldn't overcome. Congratulations Mr. Mustachio and your team. You earned those wrist bands.
