Serves You Right advanced to the finals last week along with Sloppy Sets. These two teams had some of the most fun all season long and tonight was no exception.
Serves you Right left their mustaches at home tonight but they didn't leave their determination to walk away with the Softcore 2 championship. This team took home their first Underdog Volleyball Championship.
With the winning bug inside them, they took game 1 by storm and caught Sloppy Sets off guard 25-7. They showed them everything they had to take home that win, but Sloppy Sets is a smart team and they learned from game 1 and faught back for a close game 2. But even that extra 2 serves that were needed, didn't hold off Serves You Right.. They toughened up and held on to the late run by Sloppy to take home the championship. What a great night of volleyball for both teams.

Best Sets Ever made the best decision ever when they decided to mix two teams from the winter into one great team for the spring. These one team was a consistent front runner all season and they were out to win it all from day one. Hard work and a lot of fun made this team one to beat each week.
They didn't have it easy tonight though, when it comes to playoffs teams bring their best game and Best Sets Ever felt that from both teams. It took them 3 games to fight off Sets on the Beach to advance to the Finals. Sets on the Beach snuck out a close 2 point win in game 2 to force a game three. But one by one Best Sets Ever pulled out a 4 point win in game 3.
It was then on to playing set issues who had to defeat hard hitting Ace Ace Baby. Set issues advanced in 2 games so they were well rested which slowed them down in game 1. They made a run but feel short by 2 points. They came back with vengeance in game 2 with a commanding 10 point win. But Best Sets Ever was determined and made a come back of their own to win game three by three and take home those champs wristbands!
Congrats to all those on Best Sets Ever! You have a summer to hold your title, but teams will have your number in the fall. Get ready to defend your title!
