....that would be the name of the book Rachel would write because she's an expert on the subject. She exploded for 10 consecutive service points in the first game of the playoff match vs. Sultans of Swat. Rachel was on every dig and delivered amazing sets for her teammates. She's not too shabby in the kill department either and we're pretty sure she could devote a chapter in her book to that as well. Rachel and squad advanced to the next round vs. E! True Hollywood Story, but didn't have as much success this time around, losing in three sets. Even though Premarital Sets' season came to an end, Rachel did all she could to make a happy ending to her novel.
Rachel Stehly has a passion for volleyball and you can absolutely feel it watching her performance. She's on point for every dig and assist, and is especially effective at the net when she looks for the set and then delivers a smashing kill. Premarital Sets faced off CC7D on Tuesday night at St. Charles to prepare for the playoffs next week and Rachel was at the forefront of the effort. Whatever was needed, she was there and was absolutely a studette in the back row where nothing was out of range for her quick response. Despite losing the match to CC7D, Rachel made sure that Premarital Sets never lagged in intensity and made a huge case for the POTW honor!
Premarital Sets took on Serving It Up Hot on Opening Day in the Midcore division at St. Charles and Alex Nielsen assumed the commander role. Commanding describes his performance aptly - Alex absolutely shredded the net with an onslaught of mind boggling kills that had the defense on their heels. With some great setting by his teammates, Alex was able to get the perfect ups to feed his swing. While he has the hops and height to be so effective at net, he also has the heart and passion of a champion. Which all led to a 3-0 set victory for Premarital Sets. Alex's power is a serious asset and he knows what to do with it!
