Premarital Sets came prepared for a long night. They were looking at a double header of six games total and would need to conserve their energy if they wanted to come out on top. Skyler Johnston must have decided he was good for more than six games because at the end, he still had plenty of energy to continue his fantastic play on Tuesday at St. Charles. Facing a tough squad on Shaggin Balls, Skyler warmed up by attacking the net with kills and blocks effectively. He brought that agility to the service line with a no-fault performance scoring every time he stepped to the line. The first match of the DH was just a warm up as Premarital Sets continued their strong play with Skyler in the lead vs. Take A Hit. Winning three games to zip, the Premarital Sets all played strong but Skyler was a standout on offense and defense. No lack of energy from this guy!
Samantha Geddes lets no opportunity get by her. While she excels in many areas on the volleyball court, she seemed to be especially on fire at getting her hands on the ball to keep it in play. A tip here, a tip there and then a fist pump everywhere, Samantha was relentless in pursuit of the ball. Setting is her specialty and her teammates rose to the occasion with finishing her assists with incredible kill style. She rounded out a fantastic night of play with scoring point after point from the service line. Take a tip from Samantha - use those digits for more than just texting and get on the ball!
